3-bedroom Family Holiday House with Pool in Merida, Mexico
Family-friendly holiday house with pool in Mérida, Mexico:
Casa Guadalupe is a spacious, colorful, and tranquil hideaway in the central historic district of Mérida. It is located one block from the city’s culinary epicenter (“Restaurant Row’), with five of the top restaurants, two cafes, and a handmade ice cream shop. It’s also an easy walk to museums, outdoor concerts, and shops on the elegant Paseo de Montejo. Mérida is a vibrant cultural center, the safest city in México, and central to dozens of Mayan archeological sites.
At Casa Guadalupe color abounds and outdoor living prevails. The central courtyard is surrounded by a lush tropical garden. The pool is perfect for cooling off in the afternoon. The two main bedrooms open onto the patio; both have optional air conditioning for a small extra charge. After a siesta, head to the rooftop patio to catch a breeze while watching the sunset. There, a glass-walled palapa with a futon sofa offers a spare living room. For the slightly more venturesome, it easily converts to a third bedroom with its own sink (to reduce trips downstairs in the rain or nighttime). Be sure to look at all the photos!
