Making Family Memories
We had a wonderful time at West Bay... agree with all other reviews that the property offers anything you may have forgotten....
I gave it five stars because of all that was provided to ensure comfort and fun.... the only things that would have made it better would be access to a dock and the air conditioners were in need of repair ....the downstairs rooms became a little stuffy when the humidity was high...
All in all it was a fun filled week with phones being used to take pictures only and TV was only on once to watch The Buffalo Bills preseason game.....
Thank you George for your hospitality... we will see you again.....

Lovely and Tidy
This was our second year renting this property while visiting with family. We love the inground swimming pool, the abundance of lounge chairs and comfy spots to hang out with loved ones chatting, including a fire pit with wood, two big tables w/umbrellas near the BBQ grill and a huge dining table inside. The home is nice and clean (having allergies, this is much appreciated)!
George, the owner (and designer) added so many thoughtful details to the home and it's surroundings. Also appreciated that we didn't have to cart linens, towels, pots, pans or paper goods, but there's a little grocery store a short driving distance away.
The neighborhood is beautiful and, though Little Sodus Bay can be viewed from the front of the house, it's a pleasant, healthy walk to the "beach" to skip rocks off Lake Ontario, which churned like an ocean while we were there.

Perfect Weekend Getaway Spot
This is our second time back to George’s property. The space is great-large enough that you can all be together in the same room and also spread out when you need your space. The pool is stocked with floats and toys. Close to the Colloqa Winery that has Friday night live music in the summer time and lots of nearby shops. Brandon’s has a tasty fish fry on Friday nights. Will be back to stay with George again and hopefully the weather will cooperate!

We loved the pool!
This place was perfect! We enjoyed how close it was to a winery. We also loved hanging out by the pool area. The host was great and very friendly. I would recommend coming here for sure!

Wonderful Stay At Family friendly vacation home in Sterling NY
We enjoyed every detail this property had, pictures seriously don’t do this place justice. Everything we needed and actually forgot to bring the owner had. Location was beautiful, and although it was raining most of our stay we still had a breath taking view of the water. Would recommend and actually thinking of staying in the future!!

Beautiful cottage, beautiful location
The cottage was cosy yet open. It was beautiful and comfortable, with plenty of space. The fireplace was lovely to have. I loved the light coming in from the large windows and hearing the migrating geese coming over the bay. The kitchen was large and stocked with what we needed. Everything was as detailed in the listing. I would certainly stay here again.

Property was beautiful and well maintained, even better than the photos provided.
I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely re-book if I have a chance. The area is quiet and very peaceful, no problems encountered at all. I was fortunate to get a last minute booking with no problems. I'm considering a week stay in the summer time so I can enjoy the pool and more of the local establishments. I recommend this for anyone needing a quiet escape.

REAL ESCAPE FROM REALITY
My b/f and me were looking for a quiet place to stay for a week-end. West Bay Escape is an absolutely gorgeous setting, right out of a dream. It looks much more interesting than on pics, interior plans are well thought out and make your staying even more appealing. Whole property was extremely clean and well-maintained; the property owner, George Connibear, was very accommodating. He couldn't have been nicer and offered great advice on where to go. Pool and BBQ are at your service, you are more than welcome to go and do some sightseeing, check one of numerous hiking trails, explore the state park that is just around the corner.
